btn_purchase_now.png (2836 bytes)How can you sell all this for $245?  Do I get the complete system? -  Manifold comes in a range of editions to fit the needs of different customers, but yes indeed $245 will get an extraordinary amount of GIS functionality.   $245 buys you Manifold System Personal Edition, which includes all Professional Edition features except the Internet Map Server. It even includes full scripting capabilities and the programming interface! To get the Internet Map Server you can license Professional Edition for $295.  If you would like to do more advanced, enterprise class work Enterprise Edition is only $395.  There are only three extensions to Manifold System for special needs and all extensions are affordably priced: Geocoding Tools, Business Tools and Surface Tools. Extensions include specialty functions that extend the already huge number of features built into Manifold, but are not required for extensive GIS functionality.  See the Manifold® System white paper "Straight Talk on Software Pricing" for why dealing with a mainstream software company like Manifold will get you a full power GIS for  mainstream, desktop prices.

See what our customers have said: click on Customer Comments on Manifold Products for sample comments from our customers about Manifold and its products.

My business / institution / government department would like an evaluation copy - Manifold is priced so low that it is infeasible to provide free trials.  However, $245 is not an unreasonable price for a test unit.   Note that we provide a one-time, one unit, 30 day satisfaction guarantee subject to the terms and conditions set forth on the demo page and repeated elsewhere on the website.  Qualified customers may return the product for full credit of the $245 purchase price (you pay shipping expenses both ways) up to 30 days after your receipt of the product as long as you do not request an Activation key that is required for permanent installation.  Note: Products other than Manifold System Personal, Professional and Enterprise editions are not returnable.

Do you run with Windows '98, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Server 2003?  - Yes, except for Windows NT 4.0. . Manifold System not only runs great with these operating systems, it is the best integrated with Microsoft standards of any comparable application.  See the Windows Integration Sanity Test page for some useful questions to check how well a package is integrated with Windows.  Manifold System is fully qualified for all Microsoft "Designed for Windows XP" logo program requirements.  If you install Manifold System on an XP system, Manifold will automatically use Windows XP style.  Note that Manifold tracks Microsoft Windows releases and Microsoft's support policies for earlier Windows editions.  At some time in the future, as Microsoft moves its support framework forward, earlier releases such as Windows 98 and Windows 2000 might no longer be supported by Manifold.  Therefore, users are advised to move to at least Windows XP for Manifold installations.

Do you have a PDA version?  - Instead of a lobotomized PDA version we suggest using a modern micro PC like the Sony VAIO VGN-UX180P shown at right which can run real Windows XP.   Such devices are tiny, perfect handhelds which can run standard Manifold unmodified.  The Sony shown has an integral cell modem, which allows using Manifold Image Server displays as backgrounds for incredibly rich and effortless mapping and interfaces to GPS devices for moving map mode.  Windows XP handhelds are more expensive than simple PDAs but they provide a far superior GIS experience in the field and the combination of the handheld plus Manifold will cost less than a PDA plus some ludicrously limited PDA-only software from a legacy GIS vendor.  Why not run full-power Manifold in the field instead of limited PDA-ware?

Does Manifold require a database system such as Access or SQL Server?  What database do you use? Manifold requires no other software for function and does not require installation of a database system such as Access or SQL Server.  Because Manifold has extraordinary DBMS capabilities within Manifold and because Manifold also includes much code that makes it easy to work with data in external databases, people sometimes think that Manifold either requires the use of an external database product or uses a database product like JET to run Manifold's own internal DBMS needs.  That's not the case.   Manifold uses a proprietary manifold.net spatial DBMS and spatial SQL to manage data within Manifold projects.  Manifold can simultaneously, transparently, use Manifold's internal spatial DBMS engine as well as using external engines, such as SQL Server or Oracle Spatial, to interact with external data sources for data that is linked into Manifold projects.

I heard that Manifold uses the Microsoft Jet DBMS engine inside Manifold.  Isn't that true? Manifold includes a large amount of Microsoft code that is used to interact with Microsoft data sources.  By using Microsoft's own code Manifold can guarantee that perfect Microsoft compatibility is delivered.  Manifold includes an internal copy of Microsoft's "Jet" database engine that is used to open and access typical Microsoft file types (.mdb, .db, .dbf, .xls, etc) using Microsoft's own code, but Jet is otherwise not used nor is it the basis of Manifold's internal DBMS function.

Can Manifold use data in external databases? Yes.  Manifold has by far the greatest DBMS connectivity of any GIS.  Manifold includes numerous standard facilities, such as ODBC, OLE DB, ADO. NET, Jet and the Oracle Call Interface (OCI) as well as Manifold-specific facilities such an auto-adaptive DBF driver, auto-scanning CSV and other text type table driver and numerous other custom features to assure maximum connectivity to external databases, to allow import, export or linking (including read/write linkage) to data in almost any form in external databases. Manifold can construct drawings from geocoded tables or from geometry stored in external DBMS using Oracle SDO_GEOMETRY, OGC WKB geometry, ESRI-style geodatabase geometry or Manifold GEOM formats.  In addition, images and surfaces may be stored in Oracle GeoRaster format or as generic table values.  In addition, Manifold provides an Enterprise Server storage model allowing shared storage of any type of Manifold components in centralized databases.  Enterprise Edition or above is required for Oracle Call Interface (SDO_GEOMETRY / GeoRasters) or Enterprise Servers, but all other storage types and DBMS connectivity are supported by all other Manifold editions, even Personal Edition.  In fact, Manifold is so strong at DBMS that three fully-licensed, major DBMS products are delivered on the Manifold DVD: Manifold includes installations for IBM DB2 Express-C, Microsoft SQL Server Express and Oracle 10g Express.  These are immensely capable products: for example, the DB2 installation is licensed for unlimited size DBMS and all three installations are licensed for unlimited numbers of users.  We believe that Manifold has by far the best DBMS connectivity and the best DBMS capabilities of any GIS at any price.  Nothing else even comes close.

Can Manifold Read and Write standard Oracle Spatial data? - Yes.  Manifold Enterprise and higher editions can exchange spatial data with standard Oracle Spatial SDO_GEOMETRY and GeoRasters. This includes full Oracle Spatial as well as regular Oracle releases that include "Locator" functionality such as Oracle Express. Manifold can even link data from Oracle Spatial so that multi-user editing can be done by many Manifold users at the same time that other software is manipulating that Oracle data.

Can Manifold Read and Write OpenGIS standard data? - Yes.  All Manifold editions can read/write OGC WKB ("Well-Known Binary", a spatial data format) stored in any DBMS with binary capability (as required for WKB) that has a standard Windows driver, such as ODBC or OLE DB.  In addition, Manifold editions except Personal Edition include Internet Map Server (IMS) technology that allows Manifold IMS to function as an OGC WMS server or as an OGC WMS client and also as an OGC WFS-T server (including transactions, so that a WFS client can be used to edit data through WFS back on the server).  Manifold can also read GML as GML is most frequently used.  Note that the former "OpenGIS Consortium" apparently has changed names to being the "Open Geospatial Consortium," but thus still known as OGC.

Can Manifold Read and Write ESRI Geodatabase format? - Yes and no.  Geodatabase format has been designed by ESRI as a closed system. It is basically the very old "shapefile" format stored within a database. Manifold can in general read geodatabase format so that data may be rescued from this closed format, but Manifold writing of geodatabase cannot be relied upon to be readable by all ESRI products under all circumstances.  In general, it is a terribly bad idea to use geodatabase format as it is commonly done, using Access .mdb files as the database store, because that combines all of the famous limitations of shapefile format with the high risk of error from using .mdb.   Users who think that .mdb is a safe format should search Microsoft's Knowledge Base for terms such as "repair Access database" or "maintain repair Access database" or "Access database top working condition."  The many articles displayed on how to repair damaged .mdb files, how to keep an Access database going and so on will scare the heck out of any person who doesn't want their precious GIS data and work product to be at risk. The experience is hair-raising and will usually lead to an immediate search for a less-error prone format if data loss is to be avoided.  A much better idea is to use a modern, bullet-proof DBMS like SQL Server or Oracle (both of which are provided free by Manifold) and to use a geometry storage format that can interchange reliably with other applications, such as OGC WKB for SQL Server or Oracle's SDO_GEOMETRY, both of which are supported by hundreds of vendors. Because Manifold can simultaneously connect to different data sources, it is a simple matter to read data from an ESRI geodatabase and to immediately save it in an open, reliable format, such as Oracle.

Can Manifold read and write shapefiles? Yes.  Manifold does a better job of reading shapefiles than some of ESRI's own ArcView versions, for which shapefiles were originally invented approximately 15 years ago (at a time when people still used floppy disks as the primary storage for computers, there was no Internet, no Windows, no DVDs and no cell phones...).  The problem with shapefiles is that they use dBase II, ".dbf" format for their data attribute storage, and exactly what can be used inside .dbf varies greatly depending on the .dbf driver in use.  Therefore, it has been possible to have, say, UNIX versions of shapefiles that allow long file names and field names while some Windows versions of ArcView using typical Windows .dbf drivers could not read such shapefiles.  Manifold has a custom DBF driver used exclusively to read shapefiles that auto-adapts to the many different types of DBF files found "in the wild" to read an extraordinarily broad range of shapefiles regardless of how and when they were created.

Can Manifold read and write to databases through ArcSDE? No.  ArcSDE is middleware that traps people into ESRI software.  If your organization has placed data into a database mediated by ArcSDE you've just thrown your data into a jail cell and have handed the key to ESRI.  There is no need in modern times to use "middleware" to enable the incredible power of databases like Oracle or SQL Server or DB2.  The DBMS vendors spend billions of dollars to make sure their database products provide a full roster of features and capabilities required to store data.  Frankly, they do a much better job at that than any GIS vendor, including ESRI.  A fast, powerful, modern DBMS does not require any middleware to do its job.  All it needs is a client that can connect to that DBMS and work with it.  Manifold is such a client.  Manifold connects directly to the DBMS without requiring any middleware so that on the one hand the full power and speed of the DBMS is at your command and on the other hand your data is not trapped in some format that only one, aging GIS vendor supports.   Your data is more important than any GIS vendor's marketing plans and the right technology with which to centralize your organization's data storage is a big-time DBMS from one of the top DBMS providers, not some goofy middleware layer that a GIS company can use to hold your data hostage.  If you use a standard, interoperable format like Oracle SDO_GEOMETRY or OGC WKB you will know that your data will be freely interchangeable with hundreds of applications.  Not only will you have your choice of what GIS client you want to use, you'll also be able to get to that data with non-GIS software to support your business processes without having to fight with some GIS-oriented middleware layer.

Are there any maps for European countries provided with Manifold, France or Switzerland, for example?  / If there are, do you include all the layers included in DCW, hypsography, river-system, etc.? - Yes.  The Manifold DVD includes the complete Digital Chart of the World as well as the complete Manifold World Volume 1 collection.

I'm an international customer and cannot use your  800 number ... how can I place an order? - Most international phone companies can place a call to a US 800 number, but it will not be free of charge as it would be if the call originated in the US.  If you are purchasing with a credit card, please visit the Manifold.net Online Store and place your order there.  If you cannot use a credit card, please send prepayment via check or money order directly to manifold.net by regular, hard-copy mail.  Click on the red manifold.net menu button in the upper right hand corner of our page for company info.  Please see the Shopping page for more details on international ordering.btn_purchase_now.png (2836 bytes)

Can I download a copy ? -  No.  Manifold System ships on DVD. If you have a Manifold DVD you can order additional licenses using "License Only" shipping method to get additional serial numbers for additional installations.  Note that you must have a current release Manifold DVD to use current release "License Only" licenses.

What sort of documentation comes with Manifold? - The System ships with over 5000 pages of electronic documentation organized within the Microsoft Help system.  This provides outline-style navigation, index searches, and keyword searches.    Release 7.00 documentation includes over 1200 topics, and over 4000 full-color illustrations.  The manual includes numerous comprehensive examples.  The entire User Manual has been converted to HTML form and placed on this web site for your review.

How difficult is it to learn Manifold? -  You'll have no trouble if a) you are familiar with computers, b) you are familiar with Microsoft Office and similar Microsoft ways of working with computers and (most important) c) you can read documentation and work through a few examples. It takes about one to two days of reading the first few chapters in the documentation and working through the Help examples to learn Manifold if you already are familiar with Windows.  This initial investment is essential to understand how to use Manifold and should not be skipped.  Once you have the basic framework in place, it's easy to add understanding of additional features as they are required because the entire system works within a few key concepts.  However, if you do not give yourself the chance to learn those key concepts up front, Manifold has far too many features and capabilities to guess your way through the program.  Experienced Windows users who have learned both Manifold and other GIS packages of similar sophistication tell us that Manifold is better documented and easier to learn.  One factor that helps is that Manifold has been created entirely within recent versions of Windows using Microsoft dialogs and nomenclature whenever possible, so it uses standard Windows methods at all times.  For example, the same Microsoft dialog you've seen in many applications is used for choosing colors.  This means that many dialogs will be instantly familiar to a Windows user, with attendant reduction in learning time.

Click to see a 1024 x 768 full screen viewWhere do I get maps for Manifold? - Use the maps on the Manifold DVD to start. You can also use the built-in converters to convert maps from MapInfo MIF/MID, ESRI SHP,  ESRI .E00, TIGER, SDTS, VPF, DLG, and AutoCAD DXF or DWG formats, as well as over 75 other formats.  Manifold can read terrain elevation data and satellite photos in all popular formats.  US government servers are a great source for hundreds of thousands of free maps and data sets.  Since Manifold can import data from Oracle OCI, ODBC, OLE DB, ADO .NET databases as well as file-oriented database formats like DBF, XLS, MDB and many others, numerous "text" and other format databases may be used to create maps.  The Manifold DVD also includes a complete copy of the Digital Chart of the World, Manifold World volume 1 and the NASA Blue Marble images of the Earth.

Can I Import ESRI® Files? -   Yes.   Manifold System Release 7.00 imports data from ESRI's openly published "Shape" format (used with ArcView®, but also used by other ESRI products).  .e00 files may also be imported, as can ESRI ".bil" terrain elevation files and numerous other ESRI file standards.

How can I import grids from ESRI products?  - .e00 is the preferred format for importing grid files from ESRI products. However, ArcInfo can export raster data using "gridascii" format either as integer or floating point data which Manifold also reads.. There appear to be no standard extensions for such files in universal use within the ESRI community. We suggest saving (or renaming) such files to use either a .grd extension for integer data or an .flt extension for floating point data. Use the File - Import  -Surface importer set to GRD files for integer data and FLT files for floating point data. However, you can also read a native ESRI grid by importing ADF, and going into the directory where the Grid is. Some experienced ESRI users have found that prj.ADF imports the best.  (Experienced ArcInfo users will know the above discussion relates more to the varied practice in the ESRI world than it does to any limitation of Manifold!)

Can I Import MapInfo®  Files? - Yes.   Manifold System Release 7.00 imports data from MapInfo's MIF/MID format files as well as from MapInfo TAB format.  Manifold also imports Surfer files just fine.

Can I Import AutoCAD® Files?  - Yes.  Manifold System Release 7.00 imports data from AutoCAD's DXF and DWG files in version 13, 14, or 15.

Can I export to ESRI or MapInfo? - Yes. Manifold's Export Tool will export to ESRI .SHP, MapInfo MIF/MID, and AutoCAD DXF.

What projections do you support? -   Manifold supports thousands of popular geographic projections with fully customizable parameters, as well as all Earth ellipsoid models known to the US Department of Defense (including a huge library of historical or international ellipsoids).  These include all of the State Plane Coordinate System and UTM zones, organized in an easily accessible way.  See the Manifold System 7.00 home page for a complete list of projections and default ellipsoids.  The 7.00 set of ellipsoids and projections is so large that it covers essentially all projections and ellipsoids encountered in over 80 different countries.

Can Manifold do datum conversions using NTv2 or NADCON? Yes.  Manifold will automatically use these where applicable and will allow use of custom "grid" files.

Can I reproject images with Manifold?  - Yes. Manifold 7.00 can reproject any drawing, image, surface or labels component from any projection to any other projection.

Can I georegister images with Manifold?  - Yes.  Manifold 7.00 can georegister any component to any other component.  You can georegister an image to a vector drawing, a drawing to another drawing, an image to a known good surface, etc, etc.

How do I make maps like those in printed atlases or like your website examples? - Easy - start with an appropriate data set (usually downloaded for free from the web) and then format it to taste.   This can be as simple or as elaborate as you like.  Any map can only be as good as the data set from which it is made.  Cool maps with lots of neat features usually have a cool data set that has been well organized into lots of cleverly formatted layers.   With interesting data, one can easily create maps of breathtaking aesthetic merit within Manifold.  The data sets we provide, like the USGS maps on the Manifold DVD and the DCW data set on the DVD site, are data-oriented maps for professional and technical use.  Making them pretty requires some thought, good taste in the selection of colors and styles, and a little practise. Manifold's autoformatting feature (used to create the Himalayas map example in the download section) makes the job a lot easier. Release 7.00 considerably broadens the number and type of formatting features to make map drawing an easier process.  For example, 7.00 includes the ColorBrewer palettes that have been designed to make it easy for newbies to choose color schemes that look good and work well in visual cartography.

How do I locate a spot in a map? - Most people prefer to use names and not coordinates.  The best way is to load whatever map you wish and to then insert one of the place name data sets from the Manifold DVD.   Then, load the name of the place desired into the SQL toolbar and hit Select.   You can now center the selection using the Center Select button.  If you like to use coordinates, you can use the GO TO command to center a specific coordinate location, a named spot, a selection of objects, a layer or even an entire map.  If you have the Geocoding Tools extension installed, you can Go To a particular zip code, town or address.

Sounds like a fine viewer.  Do you have spatial analysis?  - Yes.  Manifold 7.00 has the most sophisticated spatial analytics of any GIS. Manifold provides buffer zones, Voronoi cells, contour line drawing, point / surface interpolation, and a vast array of other spatial analytics, including by far the most sophisticated Spatial SQL in GIS.  Manifold has better spatial analysis than any other GIS system no matter how expensive; however, Manifold costs only $245, not thousands of dollars.  See the Manifold System 7.00 home page for links to 7.00 information and to the complete 7.00 user manual.

I'd like to create my new buffer zone (or other object) in a different layer.  Can I do that?  - Sure.  There are point and click buffer tools in the transform toolbar, or you can use spatial SQL for those who prefer that approach.

How do I import data from other applications? - Manifold reads over 80 different GIS formats and database formats.  That means you can create databases with Microsoft products such as Access and directly import the data into Manifold.  Manifold also can import data in sophisticated ways from Oracle OCI, ODBC, OLE DB, or ADO .NET compliant data sources.  You can also use a host of converters to fetch data from ESRI .shp, MapInfo mif/mid, VPF, SDTS, TIGER/Line, DLG-O, or AutoCAD .dxf.  Manifold 7.00 can read data from almost any vector, raster, image, terrain elevation or database format, over 80 in all.  More importantly, Manifold makes it possible to freely convert within data types: for example, an imported geocoded table can be copied and pasted as a vector drawing, or a map with many vector drawing and image layers can be saved as an image, or a surface can be converted to an image and on, and on.

Can you just send me a unit and bill me? - We require either payment by credit card, prepayment by company check for all customers except government agencies.  Government agencies may order by PO. We ship on receipt of a hard-copy purchase order from government agencies.  We are unable to bill without a hardcopy purchase order. You may also attach a purchase order with PO number to email for electronic ordering.

What is your address for POs and Payments? - Manifold Net Ltd., 1945 North Carson Street, Suite 700, Carson City, Nevada 89701

Do you have language versions other than English? - Not at this time.

Can you work with data over a network? - Yes.  Manifold has sophisticated features for working over networks, including the Manifold Internet Map Server and the ability to connect to a variety of spatial data types, including image servers, via networks.

Does Manifold include an Internet Map Server? Yes.  The Manifold Internet Map Server (IMS) is built into every edition except Personal Edition.  Manifold IMS includes the ability to serve via HTML, OGC WMS, OGC WFS-T (that is, using transactions to edit from a client data on the server) and even functioning as an Image Server like TerraServer.

Does Manifold have an objects toolkit?  Yes.  Every copy of Manifold exposes the full Manifold API and includes a scripting debugger.  You don't need to buy some special "developer's edition" or "object toolkit."  If you have a Manifold license of any kind you can program Manifold.

Can I create my own application on Manifold and then ship as many copies as I want royalty free? No.  You can create applications using Manifold but you must then install a Manifold license on any computer that will use such applications. The least expensive way to do so is to use a Runtime license.  For example, quantity one a Professional Runtime license is only $100 and a Universal Runtime license is only $225.

Do you have any warranties or guarantees? - We provide a limited warranty: see the License document in the User Manual. Manifold products are generally not refundable.  For general terms and conditions, including the limited 30 day refund available for some editions of Manifold System, see the Manifold Purchasing and Sales Information page.

Does Manifold come with a conversion program for common map formats, like *.dxf or *.e00 export files? - Yes. Release 7.00 includes support for over 80 different vector, raster, terrain elevation, satellite photographic and database formats.  All are included at no additional charge.

Is it possible to build new maps from scratch, out of digitalized data in x,y ascii or *.txt format? Yes! two ways: a) import data from comma-separated value text files, or b) use a database like Microsoft Access to create a .mdb file (our native data format, the same as Access) from any one of many different types of database files, and then read that file directly.   The database capability within Release 7.00  has grown so much that Manifold now can read virtually any database format directly.  Manifold also provides free download utilities to read network descriptions in a variety of text formats.  See the "Free Manifold Stuff" link on the Products page.

Are there any trial copies? - There is a trial edition for Manifold Database Commander.  We don't provide downloadable, trial copies for Manifold System.  Manifold products are generally not refundable.  For general terms and conditions, including the limited 30 day refund available for some editions of Manifold System, see the Manifold Purchasing and Sales Information page.

Why is there so little corporate information on your web site?  Other than what is on the website, we do not publish information on manifold.net or affiliated companies.   By doing so, we focus attention on the product, which we believe should be the emphasis of all branding activities.  This also has the benefit of filtering out prospects who are not product-centric.  We believe that our most important sales and marketing objective is to create a customer pool of highly product-centric customers, because only they can help us evolve the product as rapidly and as effectively as we would like.  This marketing strategy also has the benefit of being distinctive, in that other companies with poor technology or slowly-evolving products cannot compete with us in a product-centric presentation.  It is understandable they would want to talk about anything else except product, whereas with Manifold the only thing to talk about is product so product comparisons (which always work to our benefit) are unavoidable

What is required to develop and distribute an application with Manifold? - The $245 price is a per-user fee whether you use all of Manifold or simply bundle it with an application you develop. Developers may also use the Runtime editions of Manifold, which cost considerably less than regular price and do not have interactive GUI capability.  These are used for Internet Map Server applications (on the server only) or on all machines if your code calls Manifold System. Release 7.00 supports ActiveX scripting using Visual Basic Scripting or Javascript (or any other Microsoft ActiveX scripting language) and also scripting in any .NET language, so you can do pretty much anything in a script.  Manifold includes  full scripting capability as part of the basic price. From a technical perspective, development of an application within Manifold consists of the development of scripts that may be plugged into the system. 7.00 also includes extensive support for programming Manifold from external languages, such as Visual Basic or Visual C++.  Manifold may also be called from third party applications written in any Microsoft compatible development environment or used as an Internet Map Server for web programming.

world_elevations.png (36062 bytes)I'm interested in rasters... does Manifold do rasters?   Yes.  Manifold System Release 7.00 provides fabulous raster capability .  See the Manifold System 7.00 home page for more on 7.00 Thumbnail image (right): World terrain elevations as raster image, georeferenced into Robinson projection using Release 7.00 tools.

I'd like to replace my old GIS, but I need a geocoder... does Manifold do geocoding? Yes, if you license the Geocoding Tools extension.  That will turn on in Manifold a geocoder that can work with Manifold-supplied street address data for the US, with your own data or with Microsoft's MapPoint 2004 product for street address geocoding in North America and in 11 European countries.   For a comparison with legacy geocoders, see the geocoder comparison page.  You must acquire the Geocoding Tools extension to turn on geocoding capability.

Can I buy shares in your company?  Manifold Net Ltd. is not yet publicly traded, but we are always flattered by this request!

I think your manual is great ... can I buy it as a printed book? Manifold has been upgraded so fast that it has not been economical to print books for such a short life between releases. The printed book industry is very costly and slow compared to software/DVD publication. Printed manuals in book form would cost as much as the entire system.   Remember, this is not some living fossil GIS that ekes out an incremental release once every two years.  Manifold uses the hottest modern development tools in the hands of a seriously obsessed technical team to provide major improvements every few months.

Can Manifold interface to GPS?  Yes.  7.00 has a GPS Console that is the finest, interactive link between a GIS and GPS in the business.  Do moving maps, automatically download data, track GPS position and much more.  See the Manifold System 7.00 home page for more on 7.00.

Does Manifold provide any 3D visualization or analysis?  Yes. Manifold System 7.00 includes sophisticated Surface and Terrain visualization.  See the Manifold System 7.00 home page for more on 7.00 including screen shots of 3D scenes.

Do I have to buy Database Commander or 3D View Studio with Manifold? No.  These are included at no charge on the Manifold DVD.  They are not required for operating Manifold System but are other programs not related to Manifold System GIS.

btn_purchase_now.png (2836 bytes)Like what you see?
