Release 4.50 includes a fabulous array of improvements and new features while being easier to use and providing rock-solid reliability. The new release delivers hundreds of upgrades, including over 60 major improvements, suggested by users and GIS dealers through the world. Highlights include:
ViewBots™ – Cool computation bars that float in Map View and report an automatically updated computational result on what you tell them to watch.
ViewBots can watch objects in a layer, the selection, objects that are currently
visible and more. Instantly see statistics and arithmetic measures for the objects (or
their fields) being watched. Easy to use! Only Manifold gives you ViewBots. See the Buffer Zones and ViewBots Tour for a
nice example of practical ViewBot usage.
Area Union, Intersection,
Non-Intersection, and Subtraction Operations - Combine two areas into one, create a
new area that’s the intersection of other areas, the non-intersection of other areas,
and more. Create them in new layers if you like. An absolutely indispensable capability.

Clip and Split Operations - Manifold's free Topology Plus solver package adds area/polygon Clip and Split operations. The Clip function The wonderful new Clip Inside, Clip Outside and Split solvers allow point-and-click "clipping" operations that allow you to pick an area to use as a "cookie cutter" to cut out map objects from the selection, a given map layer or all layers.
